Bumpity Bump.
I have a similar problem. I received TomTom 6 new, boxed and complete as a present.
Unfortunately it's the SD Card version and I have a Nokia N95 which takes a MicroSD card.
Given that I already have some stuff (Music, Vids etc.) on the 95's MicroSD card, can anybody help with instructions as to how I can install from the TomTom SD card to the MicroSD on the phone.
I can fully sync and install to the phone using Nokia PC Suite, but can't figure out how to install (filepaths, map/voice folders etc.) TomTom in this way.
If anybody can help, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Can't you just copy all (including the hidden) files from SD to Micro SD? _________________ Tim |

Hi,
I am in exactly the same state, I have copied all the files onto a micro SD card, into all the same directories, including the hidden files.
I have found and run the install program (hidden in one of the lower directories) from my PC, but the phone eventually comes up with the message "Unable to install....." and stops.
Someone must have done this, and must be able to help.
A step by step idiots guide (note, I do not normally count myself as an idiot, but in this case......) would be real nice? |

Sorted !!
Its the [ctrl] [alt] [del] of the S60 world
I "simply" reset the phone to factory settings (cold / hard) rebott, and hey presto.
Phone found TT on the re-boot....
Please make sure you back your phone up first, as all, yes that is all, you data will be lost. |

I've just installed TT6 (Symbian) on my wifes N95. It works but doesn't recognise the internal GPS - according to TomTom the N95 isn't fully supported yet ie no internal gps found.
I copied all the files onto the memory card including the sis file
To install it I did the following
Menu - Tools - File Mgr - Options - Find - (select Memory) Memory Card
(Find Text) T - find - When you find the sis file select it and it will begin the install
Hope that helps |

yes a .sis file is the symbian install file, just like .cab file for PDA install.
You just click on it to install.
I'm surprised this was not in the install intructions but maybe the software did not come from TomTom... |
