Don't want to upset anyone - but - I wandered into Currys.Digital at 4pm on Sunday just on the off-chance and schazzam - there's my new 720 sitting on the shelf! Happy days!!

Loving the FM transmitter but not loving the fact that the unit turned itself off a few times on todays journey. Shocked

Cheers

Just got Item Number 150147142331 (Black Leather Case For 520 720)from Ebay, seems O.K. and I am sure a lot cheaper than Tom Tom.

My 720 arrived from PCWB today.

Does anyone know when the cases by tomtom are being released?
Or can anyone else recommend a different but suitable protective case?

Cases are being advertised for sale on the tomtom site as per the following link
http://www.tomtom.com/products/accessories/index.php?Lid=1&Product=373

I've ordered one on 3/8 but status is still showing as warehouse. Mine is the cheaper one which I assume is in stock as it's available for purchase.

I would love to just pop into town and pick one up but using my egg card and the Dixons pre-order discount I have got a 720 for under £300 Smile happy days! (well when it turns up! and thinking about it I should have just ordered from handtec but hey ho!)

Thanks for the info on the case
Is it worth paying £13 more for a case that fully zips up or one that has a magnetic flap.
I am thinking the extra on the case may be well worth it

Guys,
When I first bought my 510 go I managed to register the unit with a product code on the tomtom site. I note there is no such product code with my 720 si I'm unable to go through the same registration process.
Is this correct or am I missing something?
TIA,
Pete

Just copy the photos into the TomTom Photos folder using windows explorer.

Sorry not to sure what you mean.. Confused

Connect TomTom 720 to your PC with USB cable

The 720 should appear as a new drive in 'My Computer'

Select the new TomTom drive and open it as if it was any other folder or drive on your computer.

Select 'Pictures' from your start menu (If you have Vista) or whever your pictures are stored, open that folder.

Select the pictures you want to copy to your 720, and drag them to the Photos folder on the 720.

Or you can use the 'Manage Photos' option in TomTom Home.

Select @Manage Photos'

If it's not already shown in the 'Locations' box in TomTom Home, click add near top middle of screen, select your pictures folder.

You should now have a list of file locations.
Select the file location, and click search, and now all your photos will appear in TomTom Home.

Tick the box next to all the pictures that you want to copy to the 720, and now click on the big green install button, and they will all now copy to the 720. Job done.

Latest updated from PC World Business (06/08/07):

Good morning Mr Khan and thanks for your recent query with us. I would expect delivery of these goods to be within four days as the stock now appears to be coming out of constraint

Kindest regards
Aaron

This case looks pretty good and is at a good price too. Although I would like a case such as ebay item no: 260144535733 as this can hold the cradle and charger. I did e-mail the seller and they are looking into supplying such a case.
