Does anyone know of, and can reccommend, any 3rd party batteries available for the 2210?
I was looking at the extended 3,400-mAh Lithium-Ion one provided by HP but at £81 it's a bit pricey! |

Hi there
I would say £81 for a battery for a £215 2210 is very very expensive.
How much is a std 900 mAh battery ? Ok so you have 3.5 times the capacity and this would give at least 12 hours use ? but £81
It does not seem cheap even if you repeat £81 a few times,
They have you by the balls as there are not many batteries that would fit, but if you ran a wire to an external batterie then mobile phone batteries have very large capacity and at 3.7 volts !!! _________________ all the best

Expansys are selling the slim battery at £41.95. They also list the extended battery as a pre-order but no price. So I'd say around the £80 mark is probably about right for the larger rated battery. Still though, £41.95 is a little steep for a battery! |

The std 900mAh battery from the HP store is £37
I was hoping there would be after market alternatives available from the likes of uniross etc... at a more reasonable price. |

There are plenty of it everywhere for a few quid.
It may not be perfect for some occasions but it serves the purpose - gives you more (much more than a spare battery) running time. _________________ Pc-Mobile

It's a little battery box you carry around with 4xAAA batteries in it to give around 3 full charges of the Pocket PC.
Check this review. |

My mistake was this new laptop keyboard, it should have been 4xAA batteries, but I'm having difficulty getting used to this keyboard |
