"TTN3 can not use TTN2 maps. This should not pose any problem, since we will replace all of your maps for the same price. Of course, TTN3 will read your TTN2 settings."
Does anyone know if the above quote from the Tom Tom E-Mail means my European maps will be replaced as well for the same upgrade fee |

I asked TT customer support about updating maps I have downloaded from the web site e.g. Netherlands Coast, to see if I will get a free upgrade on that map, as I only dowloaded it 2 weeks since. Their reply is as follows:-
"Unfortunately we do not have all the information for the downloadables maps for the Navigator 3 so in case you will do the upgrade to the Navigator 3 you probably won't be able to use those maps from Navigator 2, but it can be a possibility but for this option, we do not have a yes or no yet."
Ist it's a no, then it's maybe, but we don't really know!!!
Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

They say 49 euros to upgrade PLUS the European maps. I guess it's the translation but unless I'm mistaken I assume this does NOT include the full European suite does it?? If it's not that are they going to send just TTN3 UK editions to Uk, France to France etc. ? - because this seems rather complex for them logistically. I would like to have France specifically. It used to be possible to buy by country. If they ARE only going to give you a single country it seems a bit mean to make us pay full whack for the whole of Europe. On the other hand 49 euros would be a great price for the lot!!!!!! If not - why don't they take the opportunity to get us to pay for the upgrade with a "special offer" for Europe............ |

I paid £116 for the TTN2 maps or western europe after the jan 18th deadline, so i am expecting a new box with updated maps for free.
Anyone that ordered after this date should have all of their purchased maps /software updated for free (as they say on their website)
Cheers
