Streetpilot c320 - Please Help!

Hi folks,

I really hope someone can help me as I'm getting streesed out with my unit! Sad

I just tried to update the unit software from version 5.30 to version 5.50.

During the installation of the newer version onto the unit it froze so I aborted the transfer.

Now when I switch the unit back on I am greeted by the message "MISSING SYSTEM SOFTWARE" on the splash screen amd the unit does not boot up.

I have tried pressing the reset button a number of times but the problem still persists.

I will be most grateful to anyone who can help me as I'm in need of using the unit tomorrow in an area that otherwise I'll probably get lost!

Since posting the above I have restarted my computer, reinstalled the usb drivers and the unit was once again detected, yipee! However the transfer of version 5.50 keeps freezing at about the 50% progress mark.

Can anyone please send me unit software version 5.30 so I can hopefully just rollback the software?

Phew! Yes, thanks! I sorted the problem out by uploading the firmware to my unit on a different pc. It worked first time without freezing during the transfer. I've now managed to update to firmware version ton 5.50 with no problems and a fully operable unit. Thanks again for the help! :D
