has anybody got the driver disk for the mio c510
i have lost mine and need to do an install on my computer (done a format)
i have been to the mio site and downloaded all the software they have for the mio c510 but my computer dosnt recognise the mio says it needs the drivers have tried instaling the ce usb driver but not working
thanks if anybody can rip the drivers off the dvd and attach to an email pm me for my e-mail address thanks |

If you need them still I have them to hand, Question though are you using Vista??? if so there is a workaround BUT it's not official ........ |

Basicly install the drivers from the disk by update driver have disk |

Does this not screw up the Viasta usb drivers?

How is this "not offical"? Looks like one of the standard methods for installing drivers to me (other than the fact Vista is not supported)

Why would it? Pretty much the same as installing printer / scanner drivers in Vista. These are the drivers for the device and not USB. |

Thanks both.
So if I install the drivers that came with the MIO, Mio Transfer and the hacked version will then communicate with my 710?
If it's that easy, why do MIO give us the bulls**t about not Vista compatible if the drivers 'just work'? Have either of you unlocked your mio and done file transfer that way?
