Have TT version 6 on my Mobile Phone ,cant get ogg speech files to work, are they compatible with the tomtom 6 mobile. if not are there alternatives I can download. |

The phone I have is a nokia N73 With tomtom mobile 6 installed, have installed data chk voices, but would like the flexibility of the ogg files,do ogg files work with tt mobile? |

The Chk files are just the individual Ogg files compressed into one file. If you search google you can find a programme to decompress the files back to the sperate ogg files and vice versa. Great if you want to create your own TomTom voices. (Try google - make your own TomTom voices)
There's a great site which includes a breakdown of what all the ogg files are supposed to say but I can't remember what it's called :-(
I know it can definately be done on the N73 cause thats what I had till I got an N95, you soon get sick of your kids telling you which way to go though |
