I recently went on trip to scotland from midlands and decided to download the single file speed cams onto my tomtom 510. but all the way there along the motorway and roads we were getting false fixed speed camera warnings, just at signs or bends. is this because i should have downloaded it as individual cams? |

Did it not tell you which type of camera it was? What roads?
Many of these may have been Mobile sites. These are sites where Camera Partnerships can site a unit to check motorists but they are not manned all the time. |

if you got the single file then it will just warn you for every camera in the database. had you gone for consolidated by type, or speed zoned then you would probably have found that the majority were mobile sites

I tried the single file one and every bridge on the motorway came up as a speed camera, as they do set mobile there sometimes, so now I load the consolidated by type, and this is by far better _________________ TomTom Go 700,
