I'm used to using a PDA with Navigon Navigator installed, but it is starting to run very slow.
I think the PDA is about to pass on !!
So now I'm looking for a new Sat Nav system ideally with:
Bluetooth link to my Nokia mobile:
Hands free
answer calls
make calls
TMC - with life time subs - and one that actually works
Decent size screen
POI ability - ideally using downloads from poi handler.
Any ideas, advice or suggestions ?!
Thanks |

You can also dispense of the Nokia phone with Eten G500.
There may be a newer model too. _________________ Pc-Mobile

Also consider the HTC P3300 Artemis or the re-badged versions from O2 (XDA Orbit), T-Mobile MDA C-III which is the same device less WiFi, all these have built in GPS and act as a very nice PDA style phone.
They can be obtained for very little outlay when you take out a phone contract.
You will find additional info on the Artemis in the Windows Mobile Phone forum section.
For sat nav software look at Route 66 which comes with a free TMC connection using the phones GPRS connection. You will find the new version of R66 does support full UK postcode, speed cameras and true spoken alerts for the cameras can also be added, not too sure about POI Handler support, but the I files from this site certainly work with this software - Mike (sat in the Lakes in a muddy tent with an ice cold beer, using the Artemis to post this!) |

Take a look at their latest the Navigon 7100 or 5100 (7110 or 5110 if you want full European mapping)
Later maps and improved software including Reality View on motorway junctions, and very little price difference |
