I am in mourning today...
Yesterday I drove a van for a company I sometimes work with, and wanted to use my TomTom, but I didn't have my spare power adapter with me.
"Oh we've got an old one we don't use somewhere" they said. Without thinking, I plugged it in, there was a brief glimmer of green light then the unmistakable smell of burning electronics
"How strange " they said, that's just what happened to ours"
AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!
The worst of it is I TOLD them about six months ago about the dodgy early cigar lighter adapters.
I could kick myself.
Anyone know how much Eldar charges for this repair (although I'm almost too embarrassed to ask him!)
Actually, even worse, the new models come out in a week or so.... shame I've no money (just two teenagers... :o ) |

I think its in the £60 region. Ive seen Ones go for £80 so I would scrap it
My mate had TomTom replace his mainboard for free. Need reciept tho. Turn around was less than a week |

Would you accept the left arms of both my children?
Many thanks "Eldar", I would give you a call, but I can't seem to find a phone number anywhere on your site! I'll use the email form on the "Contacts" page... |

Well, the long awaited return parcel has arrived!

Thank you to Sergi and Richard ("Eldar") at SatNav Shop for trying
But now... anyone know of ANYWHERE that has 720's still in stock? |
