Try me, 7ft, 8in |
So you are 4 inches taller than Mr Ross Sambridge, who is Britains tallest man at 7ft 4ins, and the same height as Mr Bao, who is the worlds tallest man at 7ft 8ins.
You didn't mention you were famous 8O _________________ Tomtom Go730T

Does anyone know if your work place has to provide somewhere for smokers to go, if they decide they wont allow smoking outside the door or in the grounds do they have to provide a little corner or shelter or something. |

No they have no legal obligation to provide a smoking area

Might just as well apply for booze sheds, casino sheds, sex sheds, whatever else you fancy doing whilst not working at the job you're paid to do - strange that toilets ARE provided. It's not your employer's responsibility - 'twas the government which introduced the ban yesterday.
To digress a little, as a former sixty a day smoker and as a former looney lefty trade union official I faced a dilemma many years ago - fight for members to have a smoking room whilst at the same time pressing the employer to ban smoking in the workplace! Any employer was able to introduce a smoking ban back then by simply issuing all employees with a six month notice to quit, with a re-employment offer attached, containing new conditions of contract, specifying no smoking. _________________ Dennis

You have to consider the balance between the rights of a smoker and the rights of non smokers. The main problem is that a single person smoking in a room effects every other person in the room.
Non smokers outnumber smokers so please go outside and enjoy your carcinogenic habit. _________________ Gone fishing! |

Right ok, a sex shed, while sounding good, would be out of the question But I, and the other smokers who work with me, are not asking for time off to indulge in our habit. We are, by law, entitled to a 20 minute break through out the day as well as our hour for lunch. this is the time we have a ciggie. Other companies around us have had smoking shelters installed in the grounds and I thought these had to be provided.
I have no idea what carcinogenic habit means, but I'm guessing its not good! And I do go out side to enjoy my habit and always have. I do not want to force it on to anyone else I respect the rights of non smokers but I also dont want to be made to feel like some kind of outcast who should be shot. Smoking is legal and untill its made ilegal, (which it never will be as it generates too much tax), Those who smoke should be treated as human beings with basic human rights. |

Famous??? just look at his outfit :P And of course spider man would never put a ciggie in his mouth, for one reason his mouth hole is covered up with the mask and for another I think there would be too much wind climbing those high buildings his lighter wouldnt stay lit. |

miscreant |ˈmiskrēənt| noun
a person who behaves badly or in a way that breaks the law.
As to whether you are one or not, only you can answer that _________________ Darren Griffin |
