Let's not ignore the reduction in the cost of treatment for all those that succumb to smoking related illnesses! _________________ Darren Griffin |

And add a bit more on for stress related due to not being able to smoke - less cancer, more heart attacks.
Any extra money generated in the Health Service, showing as "spare" will be absorbed into more management salaries. _________________ TomTom Go 60

Funnily enough, as somebody who has never smoked , I don’t mind smokers as long as they are considerate and do not smoke anywhere near me or anywhere that I want to go! ;) Seriously smokers pay a lot in taxes, and that money should be spent on the NHS!

They will start to tax alcohol even more and start to tax food. There may even be a "Fat Police" who have the ability to pull over people who have a high BMI and charge them on the spot fines! 8O

As a former 60-a-day man (now ex and hating the faintest whiff), may I ask what the heck ciggies have to do with the topic of Ice Cream pricing?
What do you reckon this cost me in Corfu last week?

HAH HAH Stargate. Trick question. It didn't say how much did the ice cream cost me. I meant how much did the emerald ring cost me? _________________ Dennis

Have I won :P | No you haven't won!! Unless you're a Greek gold merchant and I've been greatly overcharged! (But actually I was only joking - I didn't buy any of those last week). _________________ Dennis

It's not a public place in the legal definition of such so they can smoke. _________________ Darren Griffin |
