|
|
Hi,
This evening I downloaded the map of Western Europe v660 ( for £55 ) from the TomTom website. This was the map that was "recommended for my device" (a Nokia N70 running MOBILE 5) according to the Buy Maps screen.
I ran the installer and installed the application to my phone's memory card without any problem. However, when I then start TomTom on my N70 I first get a legal notice to which I select "I agree". I am then told "No maps found!" and given the choice of Downloading a map or cancelling.
Anyone got any idea what I have done wrong, or more likely, what the problem is since as far as I know I have a map that TomTom's website says works on my device and have installed it as instructed.
Regards,

Different map, same problem ? In this post |
Thanks I'll take a look.
Looking at the memory card, the map folder doesn't seem to be there anymore ??
I have re-installed the files to my PC (rather than card) and the .pna file says:
ID=Western_Europe.pna
392024331
660
build=1223
id=57096
so it looks correct.
I will just copy the files from my PC to the card and see if that fixes it. |

Don't know what happened ....
Installing direct to memory card (from the TomTom installer) didn't work.
Installing to a folder on PC and then manually moving over ... everything works fine.
Thanks for the help mullet. |
