If you use a debit or credit card as the main payment source for your paypal account and your bank account as a back up source make sure your card details are up to date. The expiry date may have passed. Payments taken direct from your account (rather than from the card) are always taken as e-cheques.

Hmm. No mention of e-cheques?
From the FAQ
Quote: | All those that are able to use a credit card get instant access.
The rule of thumb is, if you have used PayPal and haven't paid by credit card then you have paid by eCheque.
If you used eCheque we would not have received your payment immediately. Funds will only be received once cleared through the banking system. As soon as payment clears (usually up to 8 working days, but sometimes longer - we have had reports of up to 14 days clearance) you will receive your membership details automatically. |

OK, I've now found it thanks to the transaction ID PaulB 2205 copied above.
Payment has been received but the reason there has been an issue is that you used a different email address/paypal account to that which you have done in the past when making subscription payments.
Our subscription system was confused by this as it could not match the PayPal payment to an account on the forums, your forum account has a different email address entirely to that with which you made payment!
I have now credited your subscription with one years membership. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren,
So have I highlighted a problem in the subscriptions (paypal) proceedure?
If so, then at least this problem is one you're now aware of and can highlight in your instructions when joining, like you have for e-cheques.
:D
Sorry if I was a bit off last night with you or any of your admin team, I just felt a bit ignored after my original post a week ago and felt I needed to make a 'bit more noise'
All well that ends well
Keep up the good work |

I'm not even sure how you managed to do that! But its one we'll bear in mind, glad you're now sorted and we've given you 13months instead of 12 as compensation for the delay. _________________ Darren Griffin |
