I was stupid and left the bracket and charger all attached to my windscreen. Came back to find my car door frame bent down and my bracket and charger missing!! Luckily I had the Nuvi in my pocket!
Anyway I'm not paying £50 for a Garmin bracket and charger....what are my options?
I have seen one on e-bay and PDA mods its £15 on ebay and has two sort of wheel clamps on it....anyone know if its any good??
Thanks |

Is your nuvi still on warranty? If yes maybe Garmin will be able to help you |

Why? Does the warranty cover theft? |

No... but you could always tell them they broke!
.. they never ask you to send your old ones back |

Prime example of the selfish attitude that results in a higher cost of consumer goods and insurance. |

Hear! Hear! As much as tsdinos is trying to help .. persuading someone to put in a fraudulent claim 'can' get them into soapy and bumps up insurance. To answer your question Gollop, yes, there are decent ones on eBay but I wouldn't consider the one you're talking about to be one of them! IMO, look out for the ones that look identical to the Garmin article .. they probably WILL be as the factory putting these out will not be pushing them all to Garmin |

Did you manage to find a replacement bracket and charger for your Nuvi?
I have a spare. |

If Gollop doesn't reply or has got another bracket by now .. ahem, I'm looking for one now - I dropped mine and it broke the bl**dy contact piece off |

My Nuvi suction mount was wearing out and Halfords had a genuine Garmin pack with the mounts and charger for £15.99 or there abouts about three weeks ago. |
