| I've not had a signal on my Nuvi 310 and GTM12 for months. I just checked the antenna wire coming from the GTM12 and it appeared broken beneath the black plastic sleeve, next to the strain relief. I therefore cut and resoldered the wires and covered it in heatshrink. Now my Nuvi is showing a good signal level (22) in diagnostic mode with the latest firmware and GTM firmware but still not showing any traffic with 1485 messages received. I have tried TMC_Info and Tm TMC. Any ideas anyone? |

I can't help with the lack of traffic (unless you only travel to the North West), but I have noticed my GTM12 seems to be failing at the same point. I do suspect you may need to speak to Garmin though. However, what firmware are you running on the GTM12?

| I'm running GTM SW Version 4.10. I had traffic until this firmware upgrade. Anyone else any trouble with this firmware? |

Hmm me too, (Nuvi 360 & GTM12) Traffic was working fine until I applied the update, now have had nothing at all while travelling thru Midlands and North West.  |

Well, you won't get anything in the North West, because Trafficmaster stopped broadcasting there in December, and the radio station will soon start broadcasting for iTIS...

I've had terrible trouble since version 4.00 (and 4.10) I can only receive TM_TMC now which gives me traffic 200 miles away from Edinburgh. TMC)INFO had all the useful local traffic and its gone. SIde by side with another unit running 3.90 firmware, it manages to pick up the traffic I'm missing.
Garmin have already replaced my Nuvi 350 and GTM12 once and I've been asked to send them back for a possible refund.
If they do refund the origiinal price, I intend to purchae a Nuvi 670 (which is now cheaper than the pair!) and seems to work better... |
