It could be that they have changed the Unit, or given it a new Device Number. The original Card would be pre-activated.
Go to www.ttcode.com and use the Device Code that is shown when the 510 asks for the Activation and use the Map Product Code to get a New Activation Code. _________________ Richard

Are you putting the right number in? The number that was generated by ttcode.com
Are you using the right Product Number? The one that comes with the Map you have on the larger Card.
Is it the same Map as you have on the smaller (original) Card?
What is the difference between the smaller, and larger, Cards? Other than the size.
We'll need quite a bit of info if we're going to sort this out for you. _________________ Richard

If the newer card is a copy of the original then the supplied product code should work. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I would Copy the contents of the 1GB Card to the PC, as a safeguard. Make sure you have hidden Files shown in Windows Explorer, Folder Options.
Make sure that you have a Copy of the smaller Card also on the PC.
Reformat the 1GB Card, and Copy the Copy of the smaller Card to the now clean 1GB Card.
Check that it works. You might need to use the Reset. You shouldn't need to activate the map.
You can now add the custom POIs, etc that you had before.

I had to read it twice because of lack of punctuation. _________________ Richard
