Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
By a happy coincidence I've just got one of these. The key is in showing hidden files.
To install POI's, go to ActiveSync on your desktop, and Explore Pocket PC,
Tools, Folder Options, View, and check Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Copy the POI files from wherever you have downloaded them, and navigate to My Windows Mobile Based Device, IPAQ File Store, IPAQ GPS, Western_Europe, and paste the files there.
Similarly, the voices files are in IPAQ GPS, Navigator, Voices, I think!
Itineries, post codes and all the other stuff is in the Navigator folder too. _________________ HP rx5935, 2GB SD Card, TTN 6.1, GPSDash

I'm feeling a little uneasy now!
Thread drift alert
I'm just beginning to realise the benefits of a wireless Pocket PC. I'm listening to Radio Caroline in the garden. Obviously it's me that's in the garden, not Caroline, but you know what I mean.

sorry for getting so luvy! I was getting frustrated with the thing as some apps I've installed onto the SD card then stop working (it loses the path to them!).
I was so pleased when it turned out to be so easy.
Got some other POIs online and a few voices and got them installed as well.
As mentioned elsewhere in these forums, I have no need of the default POI's, and prefer to make (or find) my own. Renaming the poi.dat file to something else will stop TomTom finding it if you want to. _________________ HP rx5935, 2GB SD Card, TTN 6.1, GPSDash
