Hi,
This cannot be the first post regarding this issue, but I have scanned the forum and cannot find a post.
I have the iPAC H5550, TT2 and the 6010.
However when I look into the gps settings in TT, there are no little dots going from gps to pda.
The setting is for Rikaline 6010 and Com 1, but nothing is happening.
My duel charger and gps lead has a part number A-6017-Q1
Not sure what I must do to get it to work, so any help would great.
Regards, Steve. |

Try spelling iPAQ correctly, maybe that yield more hits. 8)
Set the TomTom GPS to plain COM1: and plain NMEA 4800 and see if that helps _________________ Lutz

Yes, did not spot the typo error.
I have tried all the setting to no avail. |

Have you tried talking to the GPS mouse via WinFast Navigator? _________________ Lutz

Lutz,
Installed Winfast Navigator.
Readings at the bottom of the screen, Disconnect, Com 1, 9600, Unfixed.
Clicked on Disconnect and this changed to Connect but nothing happened.
So went to tools and clicked Port Settings, this gave an error Could't Find Value.
This took a couple of clicks to get rid of this window, which then pulled up the Port Setting Window.
Any idea what I should do next.
I have disabled the bluetooth, however although my wireless is not active, I do get reminders that that I am not connected, with the option to go to settings or dismiss. |

In Winfast Navigator, set the port speed to 4800. then try to conect again. In the development view you can see if you receive any data.
Make sure you are disabling the incoming beams, and also disabling any keyboard drivers that may occupy COM1: _________________ Lutz

I don't have a WM2003 machine, so can't tell for sure. On my PPC2002 it is Start...settings..connections..beam
If you go to Start..settings..system..remove programs - do you see anything suspicious? like a keyboard driver? Or TomTom GPS? _________________ Lutz

Lutz,
I do not have anything to do with Keyboard, however I do have TomTom GPS, as I have reinstalled TomTom on the instruction of TomTom. |

Well, for academic reasons you should uninstall TomTom GPS and then try again to make contact via WinFast. If that still doesn't work then either your GPS receiver is not powered or it is faulty. _________________ Lutz

interesting. So there is still something blocking that port. What programs did you install besides TomTom? _________________ Lutz
