Hi there,
I hada similar problem, I had formatted my memory card on my computer which by default uses fat 32 , try formatting in your phone then just use your computer to copy and paste, it solved my problem immediatley

Should the TomTom Navigator 5 Camera Database work with the Western Europe base map? I can see cameras for all other European countries, but NOT UK! weird!
Maybe I have to have the GB map installed and selected for them to work?
Anyone know the answer? |

Are you talking about TomTom's own Camera DB?
OV2 Files can go into any Map Folder, but they will only be seen if they are located within the area defined by the Map. _________________ Richard

Yes, its TomTom's own camera database.
I'm using their Western Europe base map and have downloaded their camera database for each country covered. Every country's speed camera database appears as available for "warn when near..." EXCEPT the UK cameras - it seems not matter which card or directory I copy them to they STILL don't show up!
I just wondered if anyone here knows what I'm doing wrong before I try to get some sense out of TomTom themselves.
Thanks. |

Have a count of how many OV2 Files you have in the Map Folder.
There was a limit with V5 of 39 Categories, which you may exceeded.
V6 took this limit up to 100. _________________ Richard

Which files are you trying to copy to the device and where are you trying to copy them to? - Mike |

Firstly have you unzipped the files to the PC BEFORE trying to copy the files to the map folder? - if you have unzipped the files try downloading the database again as your original one could be corrupt - Mike |
