One XL has a slightly larger screen, but can only use Bluetooth for a data connection to your phone for buddies/ traffic.
510 uses Bluetooth to obtain data for traffic and buddies etc PLUS it can act as a hands free device for your mobile phone.
The other differences are size, the 510 is considerably deeper and heavier.
The mounting system, the Go-x10 products use a docking connector that accepts all the cables to the unit providing a simple quick release mechanism when taking the device out of the vehicle. The OneXL has electrical connections on its base so each time you remove it from the car these must be unplugged etc.
GPS receiver, Global locate "HammerHead" in the One XL or SiRF-III in the 510 although its fair to say that both are excellent receivers, the One XL seems to have the edge in terms of reception and time to first fix - Mike |

Cheers Mike,
I'm assuming the same applies to the One XL Europe compared to the Go710. Does anyone have an opinion on which is the better bet for my wife? Technophobe and just wants something simple to use around UK and Europe?
Cheers..... |

Go for the ONE. It is slim and will slip neatly into her purse. The x10 series are quite bulky in comparison. |

Cheers Mike, I found that from anothe thread and the DJ is amusing for a while. As the One Europe is a present for my wife, I'll crack on with TT5 on my old (and now dedicated) P910i. Cheers |
