|
|
Hello. Sorry if I'm being really stupid, but I'm having an issue getting POI's onto my TomTom One - I've followed all the instructions, and the Hotels/Accomodation section all seems to appear fine, but everything else is still missing. Even though when it's hooked upto my PC, shops/petrol stations etc all appear in the Great Britain Map folder with the Accomodation... any clues? |

How many POI files have you got on your TT? It will only cater for a maximum of 100 different categories (i.e. 100 .ov2 files). Have a look at your map folder, and count these .ov2 files. If you have over 100 of them, then that's your problem.
You will then have to either be more selective about the POIs you choose to install on your device, or merge some of the categories into single files (e.g. Have Hotels as one category, rather than different categories for each hotel chain). |

Also, if you are under the 100 POI limit, try opening the .ov2 file using POIedit. That will tell you if there is a problem with the file itself.

Thanks for your help - think I've sussed it now, although it'll only let me input a maximum of 39 of my own POI's. (I've installed more, but it only shows 39 at a time) Which isn't great! |

Didn't think there would be any One users still on v5 software. Sorry for missing that possibility. |
