Hi, does anyone know of a way to delete individual unwanted favourites without removing them all? (from a 910).
Thanks |

Tomtom one v2 is the same and It is a pain having to delete them all in one go, you would think you could highlight a particular one then delete it but I dont think you can, Shame. |

According to the TomTom ONE manual, to deleate an individual Faverite(Not all).
MAIN MENU/CHANGE PREFERENCES/MANAGE FAVORITES
Tap on favorite you want to delete, tap delete. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

Hi Thanks for that, but the one must be different to the 910 because as soon as I highlight the offending location it takes me straight to the next stage of route planning without giving me the option to delete. |

Or if you delete all, you'll be stuck for future navigating? Surely, if you're worried about her indoors, you'd be best off deleting all before you park anyway. _________________ Dennis

Nothing uncanny about it - I can easily judge your moral fibre from your speech patterns whilst under the influence. (whilst YOU are under the influence, just in case any mods or others were thinking of catching me out!). _________________ Dennis

As far as "Most Recent" entries are concerned, I think it holds 20 most recent entries, when you go on your 21st trip, the oldest entry is deleated, so it only ever holds a maximum of 20. If a recent trip becomes regular, I supose you would be expected to put it in as a favorite. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

how many favourites can you have on the new series? mines a 910, and my original 500 quickly ran out and I had to delete loads. |

It's only about twenty favourites. If you want more, just make a new POI category and copy them into that. There is no limit to the number of those you can have.
You can do it all from the Preferences / Manage POI menu.
Add New POI Category - Name it "My Favs" or whatever.
Add New POI - choose the "My Favs" category - add from Favourite. |

Will do, thanks for the heads up Andy.
Bad tomtom, all that space tiny for kilobyte file's and it's still limited. |
