Did you remember to unzip the folder and transfer files from the newly created unzipped folder? _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

The other thing that comes to mins is the number of POI's you have loaded as there is a maximum, 100 I believe on the 700.
If you haven't exceeded the number of POI's it may be worth re-downloading the file and try again.
If there is room for more POI's you may find it better to download the Speed Zoned and then the .ogg voice files where you can can a loud or soft siren followed by e.g. Warning Gatso ahead, speed limit 30 mph. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I have now found other poi data in another folder "WesternandCentral Europe" moved the camera files to try and they now shoe in poi
thanks for your assistance

Ahh... looks like you have two maps installed on your device.
For anybody else who's in this situation, I suppose the instructions should say "copy the .ov2 and .bmp files into the folder for the map you are currently using." |

More subtle than that Andy.
GO700 Western Europe = 903Mb (Original, May 2006)
Western_Europe-Map = 1.27GB (November 2006)
Western and Central Europe = 1.7GB (675, April 2007)
Hard disk isn't big enough to have W&CE with one of the others (I did try - it used to hold the first two I mention) Maybe OP created folder in order to copy the files into it? _________________ Dennis
