Depends on the phone and its support for multiple BT devices. I use a PocketPC Phone and that can happily talk to a BT GPS and BT Headset at the same time. However many normal phones cannot. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Also Darren, have you had to change the passkey on your usb device in order for them to work? i.e will two devices using 0000 work on the same phone? should it support it obviously. |

From what I can glean the 6230 does support multiple BT devices. There shouldn't be an issue with devices using the same passcode as you can only connect to one device of each type anyway i.e. One BT GPS (this uses SPP - Serial Port Profile) and one headset (headset profile).
It matters not if devices that use different profiles have the same passcodes. It's not possible to change the passcodes of many devices anyway. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have a sony k800i and a nokia bluetooth car kit in my car.
It would be fantastic to setup so i can dial calls via my tomtom and use traffic but have the speech and microphone, answer key etc on the car kit.
Anyone come across any more info on this?
Thanks

I have Nokia 6230i. It will PAIR with any number of devices (mine is paired with TTGO700, Jabra headset and MacBook laptop computer - I originally had it paired with three Jabra headsets - with different names - so as to swap them over when they ran out of charge), but will only connect with one at a time. I dunno if TT ONE does handsfree? I use my GO700 for handsfree, so it will also (if I want to, but I don't) pick up traffic via gprs on the phone. If the ONE doesn't do handsfree, you're stuck with only one or the other from the 6230i. _________________ Dennis
