|
|
I have a TTOne V1
Still on V 5.42 (it aint broke so why...........)
V605 Map UK.
Speed Zones cameras.
Voices from Ray's site.
The new maps at 60 Euros seems reasonable (about £41 isn't it?) so a few questions come to mind..................
Are there enough improvements/additions to make it worth changing?
Do I HAVE to use HOME..........dowloaded it once and then got rid!
Can I keep V5.42 with new maps?
What other problems will arise with my Cameras and Voices?........and how will I fix them?
Everything has worked wonderfully since I bought my ONE new and I would hate to get in a mess with it now!
Look forward to the usual excellent advice given on here........ |

if your happy with what you've got I'd leave well alone.
you will need home to download the map and if you don't want it then that should be reason enough not to bother.
As for the maps - I doubt you'd notice any real difference unless your map is missing some major road improvements which are over 3 years old. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

how new are new maps?? data is out of date well before new maps are released. i'd keep going on the system you have. in the unlikely event that you are on a road not shown on the map, commonsense prevails and your older maps will very soon pick up the trail again. |

Thanks to both of you for your input.
Any other similar or opposing opinions out there? |

Coverage of the extended London Congestion Charge Zone is the only reason I'm vaguely tempted to update.
But as it should have been on the last update, I'm too cross to give them any more of my money just yet. |
