and to top it off, tomtom are useless....I thought they held information about serial numbers. Spent ages on the phone waiting for it to connect to some one and when I get thru they wouldn't even talk to me about the product untill i gave them the serial Soooo, I tell them the serial blah blah, ask what can be done to track it blacklist it etc.....You know what they said?! They dont actually provide that as a service. So what did they want the serial number for?!?

Now I see why satnavs turn hands so easy...You could prob get thru to tomtom with a stolen tom aslong as you quoted the 'serial' - Useless!!!!!

Without my tom, i can hardly get to the bottom of my road without gettin lost -

the only info that tomtom hold if the serial number of the device and your name they would not beable to track it or to block it in anyway as the application on the device doesnt allow that kind of functionallyity

Thanks for your input tho....Im just a bit deflated - Looks like serial numbers of TomToms dont mean much these day. What does a name and a serial mean these days?!? Not much.

Same story when I 1st got it an the software kept hanging...Emailed them about gettin it repaired, again they were down my throat about bloody serial numbers before they would tell me my options. Made me feel like they were checking to see if it was going to red alert or somethng... Looks like its just a admin procedure....Oh well -
