|
|
i have had my CR 100 since they first came on the market and its been used as a charger ever since i bought the GPS slim
lately however the suction cup has decided to become less than well behaved , to be expected with the extremes of heat and cold the car goes through
could some kind soul please point me in the right direction to a replacement arm and suction cup of the same size and type
it has a usual place in the car and is bent in a fasion that lets me see the on board readout of the cars functions , another shorter or longer arm will not be suitable
i have looked on Holux`s web site but couldnt see replacement parts for sale
any advice or pointers please peeps |

get a herbert richter mount for a pda like or a generic pda mount and cut the sticky out bits off

looks like a good mount mate , but in the pics it dosent look like it can be turned sideways at the head , my PDA is in landscape mode as its the best way to show and use the screen
seems odd that Holux cant supply replacement arrms .... i`m happy with the original , just seems to have lost its suction a bit , especialy on hot days , i come back to the car to find it hanging on the power lead , its not attached to the windscreen , i have one of those plastic cups that come with the cheaper generic phone mounts and stuck it to the flat part , the only flat part actually in the car , infront of and slightly to the left of my cars OBD , its a perfect position and as said previous , bent and tilted the way it is , is perfect ...except for the bloomin suction
didnt think it would be too difficult to replace the arm , but searches on the net and with Holux has turned up sweet zilch |
