I have just bought a Navman ICN 720 from Toys R Us for £179.99 but was dismayed to find that speed and safety cams dont come included. Is there anywhere were I can find the updates for free or cheaper than paying £38.00 a year??? Any help on this would be very much appreciated |

Ha Ha !
Well you've come to the right place!
The alternative camera database from this very site is MUCH better than TomTom's own and comes in at either £2 for a month (if you just want to try it out) or £19 for a whole year. Plus it's free for life if you report just one new or altered fixed camera.
This one used to be free, but now you won't find a free database that is any good at all.

I will buy buy a month subscription and see what it is like. If it is any good and I am pleased with the speedcams, i will take a full subscription, although I cant see the point in unlimited downloads, I mean just how many new speed cams can be put up in a short time? |

With a single months subscription you can download it as many times as you like, there will probably be another update before your months subscripton ends if previous months are anything to go by, so you have nothing to loose downloading a newer version should it become available, each version will include a statement as to the contents of each category.
Make sure you grab the correct file for your device though - I am not too sure where the TomTom device entered the discussion, but the site does offer NAVMAN camera files in the correct format for you device, please have a read of This Help guide to assist with installation / configuration, let us know what you think once you have tried the data - Mike |
