Ok i'm pulling my hair out.
Ive had my 4150 and Fortuna for about a week, all seemed ok, I've played around with vito navigator, and tried out the demo version of Mapopolis without any trouble what's so ever.
I decided to buy TomTom 2.0 installed it, V 2.24, GPS driver V 2.09.
When I try to connect to my Fortuna using the GPS tool, ive tried numerous settings with no luck. When I try to connect with NMEA 38400 Com 6, my fortuna springs into life, and indicates its communicating, but GPS indicates it hasnt connected. Ive also tried with Com 8, but no activity on the Fortuna.
Ive tried installing an older version of the GPS software V2.07, but I have the same problem.
I had many problems getting my set-up working. (see below)
Finally all now works well having created a Bluetooth Serial Connection on the iPAQ to the Fortuna (but not Connecting this Serial Port) and set the TomTom GPS to NMEA 0183v2 and Serial Port COM 6.
Good luck.... _________________ Nigel Williams
