I have keyed in my address as my home address and everything went in fine, house number etc. However I never complete my journey home as TT thinks I live 350 yds down the road. Any reason.

Is your road shown as white with purple dashes down it? If so, TomTom don't use them for navigation.
If it's a "normal" road, you need to report a map error. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Try Change Preferences/ Change Home Location/ GPS Position (Note the GPS Position selection is on page two of the Change Home Location menu), make sure you are outside your house with a GPS position fix before doing this, it is the most accurate method of setting a location, Postcodes and road numbers can be slightly out of position on the map - Mike |

The data on the tomtom doesn't really know where each house number is on the map. All it does know is what number starts at one end of the road and what number is at the other end of the same road. Then it guess's where a house is by dividing those numbers up equally spaced out along that road. If your house happens to be on the ends of said road then its usually pretty much spot on because it cheated in a way . |

It's not a good idea to have "Home" set to your house. Scroat steals your satnav, and knows you are out, can then navigate to your house. I set mine to the end of my street. I can (usually) find my way home from there without the Go. |
