Please don't ask for information on how to share maps. Tell him to buy his own. Alternatively, lend him your 520. _________________ Tim |

Might Kev63 have the legal right to back-up his paid-for disk onto his brother's 520? |

No he 'might' not. He can take a backup but it won't work on another device as this is software theft. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I wish "your sort" would stop insisting on your right to make "backups". It is because of you and others like you, we are having DRM forced on us. Eventually we will loose the right and ability to make legitimate backups.
If you want it, pay for it. If you won't pay for don't use it. If you don't pay for and use it, you should be sent to jail, as you are a criminal. |

anyway why would you need backups/
if you purchased legally you would have the smart st software and maps on discs.
thats what i got with my sat nav and if theres a problem i just format the card and reload it all from the discs using smart st on my pc
so wheres the problem of backups? |
