I have a real bug with this - why on earth custom schemes can't appear inthe same list - why do you need to go to a further nested menu? You don't if you add custom voices. As it is it is a real pain trying to change schemes in a hurry even if you have a customised menu so you can get to schemes easily. Even better, why can't we have a simple list of last used schemes to make it easy to switch between low and high contrast versions of the daylight screen for example? |

Why do you need to change schemes in a hurry? It doesn't sound like something you should need to be doing while driving. |

Hi folks, just want to change the night time map colours to something a bit more easier to see ( say orange motorways, etc ) rather than the standard blue colour on my medion ppc150, running tt5 v5.
anyone advise me where to d/ load an alternative map colour and what exactly I need to do once d/loaded to get them running on my machine ??
cheers,
john |

Anyone successfully created custom colour schemes for a TTG 700?
All the talk seems to be about Mobile or PDA schemes.
Just wondered if you can do the same on a TTG 700. |

Who decided at TomTom what the colour schemes shouldbe anyway?
I just try Mapsonic and they''re colours are much easier on the eye I think
I also love the way you can tweak the 3D view to make the view higher or lower down, that's really neat .. I also think some of the spoken dirctions are clearer to, like it tells you whent o leave a round about which I don't think TomTom 5 does, but overall still think TomTom is better just hope they pickup on little thing like simply colour changes to make the product nicer

I wish I'd checked this forum now- I went an coded a quick and dirty one for myself last night- not as good as the Color Scheme Editor though; I've upped it to my website if you want a play with it.
Code: | http://www.aspideas.co.uk/tomtomscheme.rar |
It's tiny, just a single executable and a sample RAR file.
Feel a bit humbled now by the CSE - I would have liked to have done the preview map thing, was sat in a hotel room with just a VB compiler though. |

Hi guys,
Quick one...
How come, using CSEditor, some schemes will not show, but others will??
Some of those not showing were even those off the home site!!
Any ideas peeps????
P.S. I've made some alternative ones, so email me if you want them (just to try out and have a laugh)

I have seen issues when the scheme name does not start with a capital letter. Simply renaming it with an Initial Capital fixed it. |

Ok, I know this is an old topic, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a site online that would allow me to download color schemes that other people have created? Thanks for the info. |
