I wondered if it were possible to modify the POI download to remember the categories you previously downloaded, cookies perhaps.
I mix and match what I download, some whole categories, some more selective and it would be really useful to not have to work it out every time. _________________ Red Squirrel

a great idea but not possible. the 'tree' system is created 'on the fly' according to which categories are currently in the database so any new or removed categories would mess up your previous 'selection'
lutz could give you more geek-speak but that's the gist of it anyway!
