This hasn't been officially announced yet from PowerLOC, but there is a 1gb download available on the following website:-
http://www.powerloc.com/community/start.jsp
You have to log in with your existing username/password for the Destinator1 community website but you will then be greeted with downloading the 1GB ISO (CD Image) or having it sent in the post.
**NOTE** As this hasn't officially been announced, I wouldn't take this as the full production release, it may have the correct version number on it, but until I receive the all go from PowerLOC I can't say for certain that this contains the complete production upgrade.
Upgrade includes:-
- Faster route recalculation
- Enhanced roundabout handling
- Improved ETA calculation
- Improved handling of routing to Outlook contacts in memory-constrained situations in conjunction with large maps |

Just a query about a 1GB .iso image - that won't fit on a CD, so either it needs a DVD or else it's not yet a release version. |

You can get apps like WinISO that allows you to extract the contents to your hard drive. I think partly the reason behind ISO is that ZIP has a size limitation (although not 100%). |

Dunno, I'm not getting the upgrade message at all now, perhaps it only comes up once ?! or PowerLOC have pulled it as they posted it in error ?! |

I sincerely hope that the issues regarding the algorithms are resolved in this upgrade. As today, navigating through a minor (or major) city almost in any case will get you off the main road to smaller roads through residential areas. With "fastest route" on... Terribly bad!
I have had some trouble ordering the upgrade due to the same error many of you have had today. Just a minute ago my upgrade was ordered, and everything ran smoothly!
Just to wait and see what issues have been resolved.
Best regards
Anders

Well, I fianlly got in to download it. One small problem.........
"HTTP Status 404 - No view for result [error] exists for action [upgradedownload]"
is what I get when I click on the link to download!
hmmm, well executed...not.
As a side note. Wonder if you can download and get a CD. Did not want to order the CD now as it may prevent me from downloading it.
regards,
Steve. |

Hi AJ,
I did it the other way round. I kicked off the download and then went back to order the CD. Although I did have to close all my IE sessions down and fire em back up in order to reconnect to the order site again. It was forwarding me straight to the destinator community site when I tried without closing IE first. I spose it knew my session ID or something?
Its a zip file and not an ISO as mentioned earlier (DE3.0.54EUF40301a.zip).
I'm only half way through the DL so contents unknown as yet :-)
Regards,
Steve. |

Hi:
I don't see any new download options in my support page. Is this for UK customers only?

I constantlly get the Http 404 error when attempting to download. I see others have had this error but still managed to download the whopping file.
How did you resolve the issue

I think PowerLOC have been playing with the back end slightly yesterday. I got in and although I managed to get as far as downloading, I couldn't get back in and it threw up a license issue. Trying today has worked.
