Lo
I've created a poi of about 400 shops I deliver to.
I created it by adding pins in autoroute and then using POI convertor to create the POI
It works fine straight off the mark when trying it with my Ipaq on Tomtom 6.
However I tried it on a colleagues tomtom go 700 and I couldn't get it to show at all. He has pois installed and working ( the safety camera set ) and it copied the file across ok so I'm assuming there was enough space on the device, the file is only 15k.
So any ideas, I tried renaming it and nothing seemed to work ?
What am I doing wrong ? |

It could be that he has exceeded the Limit of POIs that TT can handle.
In V5 this was 39. In V6 it's increased to 100. _________________ Richard

I have no idea, but ....
Did you put it into the map folder?
Did you enable the POI?
Did it have a BMP for a nice picture to show?
Did he by any chance have zillions of POIs already so this one wouldn't show?
To be honest, you sound far too competent for any of the above to apply! Humble apologies if it sounds like grandmothers and eggs. _________________ Dennis

He really needs to take an update to his OS from Tom Tom Home if he's not yet on version 6.xxx - it's free and more or less downloaded automatically when he connects to TT Home, then he tells it to update to his TT700. Then he'll have an allowance of 100 POIs. 'Course, he may already have that - some folk get really into POIs and don't realise when they've gone over the 100. _________________ Dennis
