|
|
Ive read pages upon pages of problems with tomtom and the MDA vario,
and here i am creating another one, heres my problem:
I have tomtom navigator already installed on my MDA vario, i load it up and "no maps found" screen appears.
I downloaded the folder and followed instructions to put the "currentmap.dat" in the tomtom folder in my device, which i did, stil no maps found, i tried editing the currentmap.dat (as that points to where tomtom is looking for maps) and stil nothing..any help much apriciated |

The best way to fix this is to purchase a legitimate version of the software, then you won't experiance problems like this, and you don't need to mess around moving files around on the device - Mike |

it came with the software already on it, there shouldnt be no problems with it, its just getting it to recognise the maps...do you know what files i have to move to the SD card (not in subfolders) for it to work? |

E-Bay has its place for the purchase of certain goods, all too often software is pirated and sold illegally - a hard lesson to learn, but TomTom would be interested in finding out the seller of your software, stamping out illegal copies is something we should all persue, lets face it the cost in lost revinue costs all of us, less money to invest in products, software and maps is not good for the industry in general.
E-bay are not bothered as they get paid for the sale of illegal products as well as legitimate goods, if you feel hard done to report the seller (or PM me the details) and help stop the illegal software traders - Mike |
