I solved my problem with the cf card not working with the 2210.
I realised that the card didn't receive any sats when the external anntenna wasn't used so I returned the unit for replacement. THe new one works without the need for an external antenna and also works in my 2210! - result
What I don't understand is the faulty card would work as a cf gps in my 3850 ipaq but would not power up in the 2210.
I think anyone with a problem with these cards who tries it in another device and finds it works shouldn't jump to the conclusion that their card is fine and their pocketpc is the problem. In essence my card was faulty as the internal antenna didn't work but it would operate (but find no sats) in cf in one ipaq and not in another. This could make proving the card doesn't work difficult if the retailer hasn't got your exact pocketpc to test the card on.
If the cf slot is standard how surely it should fail or work on both.
This is strange, I would expect it to be faulty in both Pocket PC's. I haven't experienced any problems with the Haicom 303's yet, I have three here and they all work quite well on the 2210's. Very strange!

The replacement card is very good - I'm picking up 11 sats this morning (connected from the house to the bt slipper in the car outside) and the fix is very robust (it now operates just like your review card).
Well pleased.
The site's been pretty quiet recently - role on TTN3! and all the problems you'll have to solve 8)

I would get it replaced.
with my faulty one although it would look for sats in the 3850 jacket it wouldn't find any unless the extra antenna was attached. The repacement works in both ipaqs - why it would operate in one and not the other is still a mystery. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------
