Hello guys
I hope this is the correct place to ask this:-
I'm using a 510 with the TT ipod connect cable, however I can only play part of whatever track I start with before the song ends and starts again at the beginning of track one and no difference if I fast forward a couple of tracks.
I have tried using a fm transmitter as well as a FM Modulator with no difference. I have also tried using a different mount but no change.
The firmware I have is 6.524 but I also tried 6.52 and 6.11 but nothing seems to make any difference. All cables have been unplugged and reattached a number of times and I am now at a loss.
Anyone else know what I could try please?
Thanks

What makes you think there are no women here?
Sounds like there's something communicating falsely to your ipod. I'd pin it on the cable, since the different app builds didn't help.
P.S. only kidding on the lack of birds. |

Hmmm, I guess its worth a shot, I'll have to try and find someone around here with the cable and try theirs.
Thanks

The cable is worth a try, but I seem to remember when they brought out the x10 devices there was also a list of iPOD units that would work with the TomTom units (in a similar way to the mobile phone compatability). I have looked on the TT web site but cannot find it now anyone else recall this? - Mike |

Thanks Mike - there was a list of compatable ipods on the packaging, of which my ipod was one listed. I think I'm going to have a play with the ipod firmware as well to see if thats the problem.
Thanks

FWIW - after repeated problems trying to get the ipod / tt510 sorted out the solution was easy. I formatted my ipod using an imac (ie Mac software instead of Windows), reloaded all my music and now all's well.
