Blutooth headphones dont work with GPS voices

Hi all, I have tom tom navigator on my pocket PC phone. Using Holux GPS reciever on bluetooth and tech branded earplugs, these are plug into a small bluetooth box. Ideal for on my motorbike.

The phone is and an orange spvm500.

They have paired and work fine, but only in phone mode. i.e the tom tom navigator voices still come from the internal speaker.
Can I change this so the satnav voices come from the bluetooth headset.
The phones are "tech" branded.

I would have though this was normal, that all speaker activities are directed via bluetooth.

No, the system sound is completely separate from the phone radio sound. Is this a WM5 device?

It is a WM2005 based device, the method I have used to route TomTom audio out over the Bluetooth connection is detailed Here - it does involve a simple reg edit - Mike
