As is stated in the introduction, the .ogg files work on V6 and some versions 5 installations only. Yours is an earlier version and so not compatible. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Well i have never managed to install any of this software you would have to be a computor expert to get this stuff to work .I gave up in the end, an purchased a Road Angel Compact for speed traps a lot less trouble .and i just use my TomTom one for maps.I might add a friend also tryed to install POI.s and wiped his memory on his TomTom.
Conclusion waste of time .buy a Road Angel. |

Your lifetime may be but the many thousands of others who manage to do it seem happy enough.
If you were struggling we'd have happily walked you through it and then you'd have learnt something! _________________ Darren Griffin |

As an older user of this site I have found them to be helpful ,I seldom read instructions carefully but over 2+ yers have managed to keep up to date with speed camera database.Even a problem with recent OGG files prompted rapid advice see previous post .
The site is fantastic value and most supportive

Hi, I am about to install these ogg files on my pda (mio p550) with ttn6. If there's a problem, or I dont like them, how can they be removed and the original sounds restored? Thanks |

I'd got about 2/3rds of the way through converting all the .ogg file collections into .wav's for Garmin when my blasted laptop turned up its toes and died. Naturally I hadn't run a backup since I'd started the work so I'm now on my Mac and starting from scratch
I may be able to get the data off but have had to order a caddy so I can mount the drive as a slave on another machine. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Whilst you have my every sympathy, you cannot possibly understand what a relief this statement is to me (the news that even gurus make mistakes apparently). I shall now get dressed and go do backups of everything in sight even though it takes ages.
Do you think BGF's face lift is noticeable? _________________ Dennis
