After having a look on www.mio-tech.be this morning and have found that Mitac Mio have released another range on PNDs.C320, C520 and C520t.
After looking at then I thought "What a cheek"

They haven't sorted out their shoddy customer support
They haven't sorted out their upgrades for V3.2
They still haven't cleared up the problems with the TMC
They haven't updated there manual documentation
There speed database is crap (from miosync)
You still cant insert POIs in a easy as other devices

And they have the cheek of releasing a widescreen version of the c710 & C510.
Do I sound jealous? (YES) cos they look nice too

What I'm curious about is the ability to fit the EU Map in the 1GB memory.

I thought the C710 pre-loaded EU maps were larger than 1Gig......I stand corrected if this is not the case.

I donīt think we need to be too envious on the 3.3 thing either.
It main feature seems to be the ability to handle both the map and some other menues at the same time by using the larger widescreen. That is not really anything for us with the old format screens anyway.

Also, judging from history, it will probably take Mio another 6 month before they get the 3.3 version stable.

On that topic one would be interested in reading their configuration management plan. Releasing at least 3 different V3.2 is kind of strange.
