Hi All... I'm new here yooo hoooo...
I have just paid and downloaded what I think are all the files necesssary for my Garmin NUVI 660? Hey presto low and behold it has speed cameras installed on all the roads I travel regularally and I cant believe how accurate these bloody speed camera locations are amazing actually Question is this.. When I want to update this software and I download the newer file in say a months time do I assume I just overwrite the current files in my selected folder for these files then transfer these new files to my sat nav or do I have to manually select the newer file myself! I am using downlaod manager to download the zip files then it saves the unzipped files to my selected folder for this particular purpose I assume thats how it is done.. Any help to the contrary would be appreciated. And if I have made a cock up how do I delete these files on my sat nav so I can start all over again from new, or is that possible?
Please help someone ....
Regards

Sorry to say you are NOT stupid or thick. :D If you were you wouldn't be using the PGPSW Safety Camera data. :P _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I can't help at all, not having a Garmin. All I can say is Lost_Property is right PLUS you can probably expect another update of the cameras in much less than a month's time - there have been twelve updates in the five months October to February and you are allowed to download any time and any number of times you like. _________________ Dennis

when it is updated you need to extract the new files to replace your old ones on your hard drive. then when you install them to your sat-nav poi loader will first remove the old poi's and replace them with the new ones.
i'm aiming for another release on fiday so it can be out before we head off to cebit.
