Hi Tim
What I was trying to get across was. The N20 has Navpix ability, but no camera. You can up load images with embedded code from Navman. Hypothetically speaking, if there was a way just to download coordinates without the image, the end result would be satisfactory to quite a number of Navman owners.
Or if Navman made software available, like POI downloader.
Or have I missed the boat?
As I do not use this tool. I do not know too much about it but the Excel files that are made for POI downloader, what format are they?
In Gee Pee’s case, when he gets to a campsite, taps GPS screen to get the crosshairs up, which would give him the coordinates. He then converts them into the Excel format on his laptop; he could then make up a file containing all the sites he has visited. He then could have them published, or get his employers to have a POI download section.
Sorry if I have just come upon a well used path so to speak.
Regards
