Details are starting to emerge regarding a new wide screen version of the one.
Looks like it may be Global locate chipset and supplied with traffic antenna.
Further details are scant |

Very interesting, I always thought the MkII ONE looked very stylish and it looks even better in Widescreen. I'd imagine the full launch will ocurr at CeBit in two weeks. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Looks nice, and if they include text to speech then this will be a winner. Lets just remember the X10 range, announced March, available June July time |

Can't see TTS being part of it, the ONe is still the budget model and as it doesn't appear on the 510 or 710 it's unlikely to appear on this. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I wonder if the small recess at the bottom left is for an LED, or maybe they've put handsfree on this one? |

Darren, possibly true but TomTom need to continue to add additional functionallity to stay ahead of the game. I think its fair to say that the x10 range in comparison to the ONE V2 are now a little bulky and starting to look out dated. If TomTom retain the ONE V2 and introduce a ONE XL then they can happily add TMC, TTS and other features.
The x10 range will not be developed further.
So to summarise the future TomTom range will be:
ONE V2 - Entry level unit at £160
ONE XL - Delux version, Wide Screen, TMC & TTS £250
DUO - Integrated Car unit |
