Is this a new installation of TomTom?
The map should be in a folder on the memory card as a series of files. If it did work but doesnt any more the file system on the card could be damaged or one or more files has been accidentally deleted. |

thanks for the reply, it has been working happily for a few weeks now and without doing anything on the PDA it just stoped finding the maps??
Did a journey for work sat in a meeting for 4 hours fired the PDA back up and no maps.
Tried re installing and still same problem.
Just rechecked and i have three maps in both the my docs folder on the pda memeory and the gb maps on the sd card in the gb maps folder.
It just wont recgonise the files.
Starts up with the green legal notice screen then goes to the select maps screen and says no maps and forces you to close the application.
any more help?????? |

I've had this a couple of times, it usually corrects itself if I remove the SD card (assuming you using SD) and simply re-inserting the card. Start up Tom Tom and everything is fine. May be worth giving it a go.
