|
|
Hello all,
I have an i3 which has been a great little unit but feel the need to upgrade to something a bit more up to date and have my eye on a Nuvi 300.
My problem is that I have the Benelux maps for the i3 as we travel a fair amount around that area and would really like be able to use them with the Nuvi. As you will be aware the i3 takes micro sd and I believe the Nuvi takes plain old sd, so you will probably guess the question. Is there an adaptor and will the micro sd maps work in the Nuvi?
regards,
Mal |

Thanks Sanaar....
Sorry but......
Am I correct in thinking the mapping used by Garmin is standard throughout the Garmin range, therfore...once the micro sd is in the adaptor and then in the Nuvi, the maps will work as they gig in the i3 |

Yes, the maps will work as long as you use the original card and not try to copy it to another card. _________________ garmin nuvi 250

I have unlocked the maps for 2 units already. |
Only maps on CD's or DVD's are locked, not the ones on memory cards (SD or micro SD).
These memory cards are plug and play on any GPS reciever.
