Went to switch on my TT910 this morning and just got a blank white screen. Pressing the power button makes no difference.
Any ideas how to make it work!!! Is there a reset button on the unit?
The unit appears to be on because it seem to be back lit with a white screen.
Thanks |

There is a reset button in the bottom of the unit where it docks - very small hole and need a paper clip - suggest you look at a picture on instructions or Tom Tom web site to see exact place as it is not that obvious.
Surprised you havnt had to do before - in my view Tom Toms should be shipped with an official Tom Tom paperclip as this is not an infrequent occurance!

I have only had the TT910 for 5 days !!!! | It's getting old in the tooth, then. I took mine back for exchange after 24 hours, with the opinion that it shouldn't need reset so soon out of the box! I didn't know any better.
But Wildoat is right, they SHOULD come with an official poking thing AND a picture as good as Classy posted - that's about the best picture I've ever seen . It could do to be stuck on every page of this website to save everybody struggling to find it. _________________ Dennis

... and as it's copyright of the yourNAV TomTom forum, they might not like it splashed on EVERY page!
(although they are perfectly happy for it to be posted ocassionally ) |

Not that it bothers me (I believe strongly in protecting Copyright), but it seemed to be somewhere else? _________________ Dennis

Yes, and look at the watermark in the bottom right corner
It's no big deal, I've posted that picture here before myself (or a link to it), but I specifically asked the site owner if it was OK first (as I know him), otherwise I always try to add a credit if possible. |

I can see (now, not before), but not READ the watermark and looking carefully, I've no idea what it means!
Seriously though, if I knew how to do it, I'd copy that and add a very noticeable credit to the originator, then publish it in tribute, it's so good. Unfortunately, perhaps I can download the image, but I have absolutely no idea how to show it (with added credits) on this or any other website. _________________ Dennis

I appreciate what you are saying and understand fully..BUT...how can they copyright a picture of a Tomtom? Surely if anybody owns the copyright it would be Tomtom!
I had a copyright nightmare a few years ago, I won't go into detail but somebody published a picture that was mine and exclusive to me, however when I got legal advice I was told that once it was put in the public domain (newspaper, t.v, internet etc) then I cease to have any copyright over the material as it has been made freely available _________________ Tomtom Go730T
