Could somebody please remind me how to format and setup an SD card for use with a Mio
It's a while since I've done it and the manuals are next to useless in this area.
For example, if I put additional maps onto an SD card, do I simply format the card and put the .fbl map files into a directory called 'Maps' or do I do it differently? Is there a directory/sub-directory hierarchy?
The manual simply shows you how to insert an SD card and doesn't give any help as to how to prepare the card. |

It depends on how big your sd card is. But my advice is to format FAT32 at first if your card is bigger than 1Gb. If 1 Gb or smaller you might try FAT.
For possible directory structure see:

Look at the bottom of the page. There are different ways described, because some people claim that not all methods work for them.
So i listed all possible methods. _________________ Mio C710 unlocked.

Thanks Morkin.
Does anybody know the difference between the greatbritainppc.fbl and greatbritain7ppc.fbl maps - other than the file size, of course |

The 7ppc version has the 7-digit zip code in it. _________________ Mio C710 unlocked.
