Sony NV-U50. Difficulty backing up installed maps.

Every time I attempt to copy the file "British_Isles_MIKA.map" from my device to the PC it fails. The progress bar just goes in a loop, reaching about 6/7 'blocks' before restarting itself.

I can copy mine, it sounds yours is struggling with the size of the file.
Do you have another mini usb cable? Try another usb port on the PC. Are you going through a usb hub that could be causing it?

I was just copy/dragging in Windows. I used the Sony util later that night and it copied fine. Took it's time though.
